ABOUT US
In 1998 Alive & Well Health Store opened its doors, selling Vitamins & Supplements along with a fresh, organic deli serving nutritious meals. 23 years later, we are still doing the same!
The recently renovated Deli, now called Broth Cafe, is the ultimate Maui farms to plate experience, serving nutrient dense and enriching meals, featuring organic juice, broth & everything in between with many vegan, paleo and keto selections.
Our food experience reflects Hawaii’s diverse cultural and agricultural heritage.Regenerating soil, preserving water sheds and minimizing waste are at the core of our principals.Our eclectic menu with colorful and distinctive presentation mirror our islands resource rich landscapes.

Chef Noah Schuster
Growing up on Oahu and traveling the world throughout my childhood offered me a unique glance at cultural diversity. The Broth menu reflects this inspiring exposure. Through my horticultural endeavors I have furthered my understanding of how sustainable land management can impact not only our food systems, but our overall well being. The ability to express this influence through my cuisine is my greatest privilege.
Positive gut flora is as imperative to human health as microbially rich soil and clean water to our eco system. Western culture has taken us away from this origin and replaced what was once medicinal with a potentially toxic food system. We bring this to light in our dining venue while creating a place for comradery around wholistic medicine, food, beverage, and the abundance within our regions constant growing seasons.
